SOME LOVE NOTES FROM MY CLIENTS

PETER + GEN

“Sewari was the photographer for our wedding in July 2018. Her photos are amazing and she really captured the highlights and feelings of the day. Working with her is such a breeze. Her personality is very warm and bubbly and she makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. We had so much fun working with her and taking photos with our families and wedding parties as she fits right in and gets everyone smiling. She is very professional in her work and is quick to get the edited photos back to you. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer with a fun personality!”

EMILY BEST

“Sewari is incredibly skilled at her job. I’m not typically very confident in front of the camera but within a very short time, I was feeling a comfort and confidence in front of the camera that I have never experienced before! In addition to her vast understanding of the technical side of photography, Sewari is a very creative person with a keen eye and artistic vision. She was so engaged, and brought many ideas to the table that ended up turning out wonderfully. She was a real joy to work with and I would work with her again in a heartbeat!”

LILIYA ROYS

“It was the best photoshoot I’ve ever done. Sewari is very dedicated, generous, kind, photographer. She created a fun and magnetic ambience on set. It was really easy to work with her, due to her professionalism, open-mindedness and humor. From the first minutes I trusted her, opened myself and as result she made the photos on which I felt as my self. Thank you so much!”

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

01

WHAT SHOULD WE LOOK FOR IN A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

One of the most important is that when you look at their photos you like their style and it is something that would suit you. A photographer will be a big part of your wedding and you need to feel taken care of. They need to know how to keep a cool head under pressure, can handle your Uncle’s bad jokes, and remember to dry off the bottom of your bouquet before you leave for your First Look. Choose someone who you like and that will be part of your family for the day and will for many years to come, even after your wedding.

02

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

My goal is to capture the day not only through my lens, but through yours as well–the colours and setting you’ve chosen, the weather, your energy–everything that makes your wedding/ style/family unique. I think my photos have a bit of an “editorial” feel, but my goal is for each image to be a piece of art for you to keep and share forever.

03

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

For most weddings, I deliver between 500-800 photos. For portrait sessions you can expect between 10-30 depending on the package. All of your images are delivered through a really beautiful online gallery, after that they’re yours forever! You can download and share as often as you want.

04

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS? WHAT ABOUT PRINTS?

Yes! I firmly believe that you should have a printed copy of your photos. You can order a custom album through me, but there is also an option to design your own album or order prints through your gallery, which is pretty cool. You are also welcome to take your files to any printer of your choice.

05

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

SONY A7R IV + CANNON 5D Mark iii

06

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE REACH OUT?

For weddings most couples reserve their date between 8-18 months in advance. I highly recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later. Once you have your date and venue set feel free to drop me a line!

For Creative, Family & Portrait 2 weeks before shooting is best!

I/WE DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. HOW CAN YOU HELP?

I totally know how you feel. I’ll help guide you through things to do. When it comes to couples and weddings i will guide you but also find ways to keep the focus on each other, not on the camera.

For Weddings highly recommend an engagement session because it’s the perfect way for us to get to know each other and for you to get a little practice in.
